Biological manufacturing decisions rarely live in one document. The relevant evidence is divided across scientific literature, methods, specifications, batch records, investigations, and structured files produced throughout development and production. A useful answer has to account for how those sources relate to the same product and process.
Today, we are making Capicú Foundation Models (CFMs) available at cfm.capicu.ai.
CFMs are built to reason from the scientific and operational context surrounding a biological product. They give teams a place to examine source material together, ask precise questions, and produce answers that remain connected to the evidence used to construct them.
Evidence stays attached to the answer
General-purpose models can explain a scientific concept. Manufacturing work demands something narrower: an answer grounded in the records, constraints, and history of the product under review.
CFM supports that work through:
- answers linked to the source files that support them;
- structured fact tables with source evidence;
- analysis across multiple documents in one request;
- support for scientific and operational formats including PDF, DOCX, CSV, YAML, and JSON; and
- private document storage for material that should remain within the team's working environment.
The purpose is not to remove scientific judgment. It is to make the evidence behind that judgment faster to assemble, easier to inspect, and harder to separate from its source.
The full context of a biological product
A deviation can look straightforward until it is compared with the method revision used during the run. A process trend can look acceptable until it is placed beside the product's historical operating range. A literature result can be technically correct and still be inappropriate for the specific process being reviewed.
That is the context CFMs are designed to preserve.
Instead of treating each file as an isolated retrieval target, CFM helps teams work across the relationships between scientific claims, operating records, and product-specific constraints. The result is a more useful foundation for drafting, review, investigation, and experimental planning.
From scientific context to the instrument
CFM is one part of a broader Capicú system.
Capicú Foundation Models operate at the reasoning layer, where scientific evidence and manufacturing context have to be brought together. Capicú Edge ML Inference (CEMI) operates at the deployment layer, where qualified models have to run inside or alongside biological instrumentation.
One helps teams reason across what the organization knows. The other places intelligence where new biological data is measured. Together, they support a continuous path from scientific context to decisions at the point of acquisition.
